If fatty deposits build up over a period of time in your body, they can damage the liver and stop it from working effectively. 

Exercise regularly: regular exercise helps to reduce stress on the liver, increases energy levels and helps to prevent obesity. Exercises as simple as swimming, brisk walking, bicycling, to more weight bearing exercises like weight training help you stay active, maintain your bone as well as muscle strength. You may want to start exercising thrice a week until you are able to graduate to exercising five times a week. 

Go for routine checkup: You may not be able to see the symptoms or signs of an affected liver every time, this makes it pertinent for you to go for a check up. It does no harm to be aware.
